I'm always super behind on my new primetime shows but I recently caught an episode of NCIS Sydney wherein Bluebird was scrolling Bluesky.
I giggled a bit.

Just a girl distracting her brain by building urban fantasy domiciles in the Sims. So far, I've finished Harry Dresden's basement apartment (complete with Harry). Now I'm working on Rachel Morgan and Ivy Tamwood's church (no spoilers; I've only read the first book) and it's taking up a lot of space.
If you see this, post a knight
It's generally a whole day excursion culminating with dinner out. Today I start building up funds across all of my pay to play apps to pay for next month's dinner out. The walking app just seems to be the one I have the most control over. So I am now walking for my dinner. ๐๐ตโ๐ซ
My roommate and I shop for household groceries every two weeks, alternating who pays each time. Which means basically we each buy groceries once a month.
Day one of walking for my dinner. ๐งต
Otherwise, I think it could have been just as, if not more successful at 90 minutes, but that's really it for notes. Well worth the $6 Tuesday ticket to help keep the movie theater industry up and running (I don't watch new movies at home; ADHD, you understand).
Went with my Mama to see Send Help. With no advanced warning regarding what a Sam Raimi film might look like. Oops. Thankfully, we only really had to endure a few of his trademark bulging eyeballs.
Professional headshots for two actresses. On the left, Rose Abdoo who played Gypsy on the show Gilmore Girls. On the right, Andrea Menard who plays Edna on Sullivan's Crossing.
Watching Sullivan's Crossing and maybe it's because of Scott Patterson and CMM but I keep thinking Edna is Gypsy.
Makes me super glad I'm a coffee snob and can't stand most hotel coffee. Dark roast just means burnt ffs
My favorite thing is apps that still make noise when the phone is on silent. ๐คฆ๐ปโโ๏ธ
So, yesterday, she tells me, as if we'd never talked about any of this, that she wants to take the train to Albuquerque (which is a 54 hour endeavor that involves not one but two lines) for Balloon Fiesta. On October 1. ๐คจ Salty? Yes, but to work I went trying to figure out the logistics.
Sigh.
For a year, maybe year and a half, I've been trying to convince my mom to come with me for a tourist excursion around Chicago, a city upon which I have an intense crush. I would like very much to introduce them during the autumnal equinox and Chicagohenge. 1/
Wasn't one of those 39 cases a sitting Republican Congresswoman with residences in two states? ๐ค
Bat CITY, Bing. Bat City. Not Batman. ๐ฆ
Here's another.
The synopsis for the new 'Burbs TV show on Peacock reads "A young couple returns to the husband's childhood home ..." But the husband in question (played by Jack Whitehall) is not Dave Peterson. WTAF?
Post a banger not in English

I have abandoned my newsletter subscribers because my life is an ongoing torrent of empathetic discord and I can't be bothered to write anything consumable and I'm tired of finding new and not depressing ways to say that every week. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
Started Ripple on Netflix. With Ian Harding and a character named Aria. ๐ค
On paper, I have a cat and my roommate has a cat. IRL, my roommate and I are shared property of two cats. Anyway, her cat just tried to convince me I was supposed to come to bed with them. She was very adamant that was what needed to happen. I told her no and came back to my couch. She followed.

Lastly, it was Clueless night, but it felt more like a tribute to plaid. We couldn't get Alicia Silverstone and Paul Rudd to deliver clues? Or Breckin Meyer and Stacy Dash? Really? Disappointed in you, Fox. 4/4
And that's all I got. I thought Crane might be Brandy but the panel's guesses were just as good. Mya or Misty Copeland stood out. 3/4
I was wrong about the Scarab ๐ but got Handy Man dead on. I, like Robin, have had that voice burned into my brain. It helps that the radio station we listen to at the 9-5 plays Wild Thang often. 2/4
Another week, another round of unhinged Masked Singer guesses from me. ๐งต 1/4
"Why aren't you writing?"
Beats me. I mean the world feels like a speeding train with no brakes and the Felon in Chief of the Untied States is frantically pumping the bellows, plus the corporation that owns my day job is covertly trying to destroy it, but like day to day I'm trying to be okay, so ๐คท๐ปโโ๏ธ

That's all I've got so far. The rest have me stumped. 5/5
