This is not me shaming the business. This is me pointing out that rates & marketing signal the clientele that workers/businesses tend to want (rich folks), more than the services they offer. Rates do not necessarily reflect the quality of a person or service. (Though they might if specialised equipment is required & the skills to use them safely.) Rates are often used to filter out "low quality" (read: low-income, usually) clientele. You can still find good quality at more affordable (than "elite") rates)

I don't know which romance authors SWCEO has been listening to, but the ones I pay attention to (hi, #Romancelandia) are very much anti-AI when it comes to writing & editing. So for SWCEO to specifically mention "romance authors" among those calling for adult AI tools does not ring true for me. At least, not any of the romance authors I respect. #Bookstagram
