Well, there IS enough housing, but most of it’s being bought up by house flippers either tearing it down & putting McMansions on the lots, renting it as AirBnBs, or being bought by Private Equity who jack up rents to unpayable amounts so they just sit empty (bc they can float it to inflate market) 😩
