Man sieht die Zitzen unserer säugenden Hörnchen Mama ganz deutlich, wenn sie sich bewegt ❤️
Sie kommt täglich zwei mal zum Fressen und Trinken, verliert aber trotzdem deutlich an Gewicht. Der Nachwuchs will versorgt sein.

I noticed this Long Tailed Tit flying repeatedly from the hedgerow to the car under our carport. So I went out to take a look. The bird has seen its reflection in the car window somehow and, I assume, thinks it's another Long Tailed Tit on his patch. Here it is checking out its "rival" by sitting on the trim around the edge of the back window

It then flies back up into the hedgerow alongside the carport. I have a feeling there is a pair currently checking this section of the hedgerow out for a nest as I have also seen them flying in and out of here repeatedly. It sits here for a matter of seconds before it returns to the car

It first of all flies to the back window, and once this has been checked out, it flies to the front window to repeat the process. Here it is mid-flight between the 2 car windows

Whilst checking out the reflection there is a lot of pecking at the window which is what it is doing in this picture. I did also take video of the whole palaver. I do not believe it is hurting itself in any way but I might consider finding something to cover the car so that it is not distressed in any way

This male goosander is in the water but its body is upright as it stretches and flaps its wings behind it. Its white breast shows the ripples of the water reflecting upon it like stripes. Its wing feathers are splayed showing white and grey plumage on the underside. Its black glossy head is shining in the sun providing a green sheen to the black. Its beak is pinky purple.

Der kleine Vogel ist das Herzstück des Bildes und besticht durch sein charakteristisches Gefieder: ​Leuchtendes Blau an den Flügeln, dem Schwanz und der markanten Kopfkappe. ​Eine gelbe Unterseite mit einem zarten Grünstich am Rücken. ​Das typische weiße Gesicht mit dem schmalen, schwarzen Augenstreif. ​Der Ast ist mit flauschigen, gelben Weidenkätzchen (Palmkätzchen) besetzt, die gerade in voller Blüte stehen. Heute vor einem Jahr kam Mini extra früh auf unseren Balkon, um seine angebetete Lumi nicht (wieder) zu verpassen. Die lies ihn ordentlich warten und steckte die Nase erst aus dem Kobel, als er wieder auf dem Weg nach unten war. Dann folgte sie ihm aber sogleich für eine Jagd um die Bäume. 🐿️🐿️❤️
