Who else gets irritated when asked in an information resource (e.g. #Dynamed )to identify their role or field and there’s no choice that matches them? I don’t want to be an Other. I’m the one who: 1) pays the bill, 2) promotes your use, and 3) probably uses you more than anyone! </rant> #medlibs

That’s funny, I thought I was responding to someone else after someone liked an old post. Well, anyway, I have used it this way. Currently working on another fun use which will make my Mondays easier. 😃 Talking to myself.

I’ve used it to summarize open ended questions. If I had time I’d attempt to compare how well it worked versus a traditional thematic analysis.

I just learned about Open Alex today here on BlueSky. Pretty easy to use, very comprehensive, one glitch identified. Free with premium options. Will keep experimenting.

ChatGPT was a good assistant today. I used it both to help analyze some survey data and to help parse some author data. These are jobs I didn’t have anyone to delegate to and would have taken me hours and hours.
