I totally get this, although I was hoping you would create a new account over there! But you’re right it’s pretty toxic.
28 Years Later: maybe I should MARINATE on this but I might as well get down how I’m feeling as of now: this is a classic. British in the best way, eccentric in the best way, A+ use of music. Also has that Scorsese thing where you cannot believe a SENIOR CITIZEN directed it

It’s also fascinating to compare it to The Day of the Jackal, which updates the source material in all kinds of idiotic ways, has utterly lightweight TV acting and directing, and a miscast Eddie Redmayne.
Watched the first episode of The Agency and frankly I’m in heaven. Credit where it’s due, whatever you think of his strange film career, Joe Wright’s directing here is fantastic, pure class. Sticks much closer to Le Bureau des Légendes than I was expecting too, which helps.
