Sometimes love is gross, but if love matters you never care.
It won't be long before the Trump Youth and Trump Youth camps are set up
And right across the road the game is afoot!

Great philosphers of the world
"I think, therefore I am.” – René Descartes.
“The unexamined life is not worth living.” – Socrates
"Basketball"...short confused pause... "I just said basketball!?" - Link Neal.

If the only value you find in debate is winning, you have already lost.
If you place that value above empirical evidence, you are deluded.
If you present your value as truth to the world, you contribute to our doom.
Greed is at the heart of much evil in this world
It's why capitalism has such sharp edges
It's why communism never stood a chance
It's why wars are fought
It's why people starve
It's why life is cheap
It's why profits must grow
Does my opinion matter?
No! I'm too poor
I can't believe it's not banana
Nice! No more about turns needed
Who remembers when Michael Jackson released a single about some bloke named Shayne?
"🎶 I'm talking with the man in the river,
I'm asking you to say his name,
And if you think that his name is Philip,
I think you are wrong, I know his name
I know his name, his name is Shayne🎶
Anyone remember these wee guys from before they became colorful marshmallow ropes?
The building is maintained but I had no luck finding any info on current use or ownership. The current South Leith Parish church Hall is on Henderson Street, but who knows? Maybe there is more than one.
Old Church Hall, Duke Street, Leith, Edinburgh.
This church hall was built in 1907, replacing an earlier hall constructed just 29 years earlier. It stands out a bit in Edinburgh as it's Edwardian Free Style design is more commonly seen in Glasgow.

Use as a church had ceased by the late 1980s. In the late 1990s it became a nightclub until a fire in 2006. Nowadays it is home to offices and flats.
Mariner's Church, Dock Street / Commercial Street, Leith, Edinburgh
This old church was built between 1839 & 1840 to provide sailors with an alternative to the floating church in Leith harbour. It was designed by Edinburgh architect John Henderson.

Custom House, Leith, Edinburgh.
This Georgian construction was built between 1810 and 1812. As with all dockside custom houses it was built to collect taxes on goods entering and leaving Leith Harbour. As you can see it was designed as a grand and commanding building to convey its importance.

Despite what some sources claim Mary Queen of Scots could not have stayed here briefly on her return to Scotland. That was in 1561 before this house was built. However, she may have stayed in a previous house on this site owned by the Lamb family or somewhere nearby.
