I build in debug-ability with every prompt/spec/prd these days. logging at a minimum. usually a show debug info setting or flag. once out of a moment of desperation, said "pretend this had MCP , what would it tell you"

and if you label your documents "January...", "Feb..." they are no longer lexically sortable and I hate everything about that.
it's tax season and WHY DOES EVERY FINANCIAL INSTITUTION MAKE ME DOWNLOAD STATEMENTS ONE AT A TIME????
for the love of everything, I want to download all of 2025 in one click.
this thing is amazing.
I find myself logging in and out of personal and work claude accounts so i made clog to make that easier. it's just a shell script.

Holy moly the Nostalgia Bomb from this NES top gun aircraft carrier post hits hard:
relaxing.run/blag/posts/t...
I say this as an optimist, but Iβm not sure how optimism is a thing. if I project back to the pre-agriculture hunter gather era, people who are optimistic about eating the red mushroom or I can get the bear and make a stew, it doesnβt seem like they would be very good at passing along their genes
1. the centaur-related terminology in AI, which I believe originates from the chess world, cracks me up
2. the notion of humans as scapegoats for AI is the most dystopian of outcomes

The amount of nostalgia per post that @nicole.express
generates in my squishy brain is skyscraper high.
I try to and also encourage my son to say thank you to Siri, cause gratitude is a good habit to build.
if you routinely threaten in your prompts, I have to imagine that seems like it would leak into your human interactions over time.

Can confirm. some chunk is usually just misattributed, but the rest is probably related to simple exposure and/or the advertising rule of seven.

this post gave me a new mental model of real estate the Shelter vs real estate the Investment

Taking out a loan is buying money.
Taking investment is buying money.
Offering a discount in exchange for annual payments is buying money.
Sometimes it makes sense to buy money, and sometimes it doesn't.
Is there a consensus replacement phrasing for googling something now that we use chat whatever LLMs?
I'm leaning towards "just FROL it" as in future robot overlords.
"I'm frolling for when the machines will take over humanity."
I did not know that the Dark Ages were literally dark:
"A mysterious fog plunged Europe, the Middle East, and parts of Asia into darkness, day and nightβfor 18 months."

Clearly a sign you need a break, a walk and probably a drink!
So even a four day weekend only gives you maybe a day of rest without intrusive work-thoughts.
The Myth of the three day weekend:
All the research indicated it takes about 72 hours for your brain to βdetoxβ from work.
A three day weekend means you spend the whole 3 days with work thoughts still in your brain.
I get affect vs effect correct every time and I even plug in the USB-A cables the right way up most of the time, but ask me to spell gaurantee and I get that red underline taunting me like a toddler who found their first ever noisemaker.
haha hard mode is right! love it

You also need some stage-awareness here. Long sales cycles are killers for bootstrapped and even seed funded startups. You need cash flow or runway to support them. And you need high enough pricing and strong enough market fit so that you can justify those long cycles. Both are rare early.
I feel like there should be a middle point that's is catchier than "I believe in kindness, helpfulness and paying it forward but not at the expense of my mental, physical or spiritual well being, and that line is blurry and it's hard for me and others to tell when I cross it"
