One thing is certain, and it is almost trite in the cliche of it all. Nothing exists in a vacuum, and predictably, context is king.
Is this a color of joy? Or sickness? Rebellion or cowardice?
Every aspect of the story has a part to play and inform.
Yellow clothing/clothing items have historically marked stigma against various marginalized groups as far back as at least The Middle Ages, yet it has also been a symbol of royalty.
Yellow has such an intensely complicated history throughout the world—like any color, I suppose.
In Victorian times, it was seen as a shade of rebellion against repression, but also as a color of contamination—Oscar Wilde was shamed in headlines for carrying a “yellow book” when he was arrested.
When you have Für Elise stuck in your head and your ADHD thinks, “would it help if we pretended we’re playing it on the piano like we used to and probably don’t remember how?” And now it’s even further cemented in your brain but also piano fingering on your desk is kinda soothing, but also omg stop

ICE is currently raiding an apartment complex near my home in Savage. Lots of children screaming. This is completely unnecessary. I'm certain these people being terrorized are hard working, law abiding individuals.
&S!#% &S!#% My brother's construction site was raided by ICE this morning and 6 people were taken (they came after he left to a new site so he didn't get taken, but some of the crew did). MN companies need to do a better job at protecting their employees. They know ICE is present visibily in the Twin Cities so they need to not send their employees to work until ICE ain't roaming the streets!! &$!#% &S!#%

Finally finished the Hearth Witch's Guide to Magic & Murder. An absolutely beautiful magical murder mystery by my friend @kiricallaghan.com . I highly recommend the book and will, without a doubt, read it again myself. And try the recipes. :)

There wouldn't be ad text, such as it is. It'd just respond definitively, and be totally wrong and dangerous.

Finally finished #TheHearthWitchsGuideToMagicAndMurder. While essentially "Sherlock" fanfiction, it is still an engaging, intriguing story that blends the infamous detective with fae lore & magic from various cultures. Good job, @kiricallaghan.com 4.5/5🍵

We played a mystery game and man the main mystery was not NEARLY as emotionally compelling or interesting as the red herring
I am far from an expert but… your red herring should probably not be MORE compelling than the actual mystery. Unless that’s the literal point (ie “Glass Onion).
