Ended well enough! But there was definitely a section in the last half that dragged for me and really felt like the game lost loads of momentum at that stage.

When I first moved to Australia, I felt weird about the "no tipping" culture here. Now, after 4 years, I've done a full 180. It feels weird when I go home and am asked to "optionally" subsidize low wages and pretend it's a form of enticement for better service (even if there isn't any service).

From what I can see absolutely nobody is pushing for this for hospitality or customer service jobs, and only workplaces where it actually makes sense to enable WFH? How is this nothing other than a positive thing?
Im trying to understand why the pushback exists for the current Vic Govt trying to give employees the right to work from home 2 days a week regardless of biz size. If it’s not required to be in office to do your job then what’s the problem?? 🤔
