Slow work… masking tape and a scalpel help to get the shapes for the helmet decals. Now to scan these little bits of tape and design the actual decals in Adobe Illustrator

I had a Lledo model of this car as a kid, which I believe I acquired by collecting tokens drom the back of Kelloggs Cornflakes packets. It arrived in the post on Christmas Eve, which made it all the more exciting. I’ve still got it somewhere, I’ll have to dig it out!!
