Safety first! At Washington Dulles International Airport station, weβre testing a removable bollard in front of the escalator to encourage customers with large bags to use the elevator instead. The initiative aims to reduce trips and falls and improve safety for everyone moving through the station.
Last weekend, our crews rehabilitated grout pads on the Red Line between Dupont Circle and Van Ness. Grout pads elevate the tracks and hold them in place. Hereβs the team cleaning old concrete and using tarps to help concrete cure faster during colder temperatures.
