Personally, I don't see the problem with making a comic book artist, whether it's the artist, the writer, the colorist or the editor, understand when something is bad. You have to make them understand, so that it will push them to improve and learn from their mistakes.
This run didn't really bring everyone back compared to Gerry Duggan's
I'm afraid that the next writer who comes after you will trash everything you've built in this run and return to much more classic and superficial foundations.
