*multiple sound cards

you can actually record way than two tracks actually but you need multiple sound or a mixing desk in order to record more than two audio tracks at the same time i should say. i think you can easily record way more than two midi tracks at the same time tho

also cue files are awesome for albums without track gaps. I'm never doing multi file exports for albums again tbh, i much prefer using cue files. it's also simpler to add metadata with cue regions in ardour vs adding metadata in musicbrainz or with audacity.

I've had less issues with ardour recognising my audio devices whereas audacity likes to bug out sometimes and just not recognise my audio devices.
