It's possible for S-models to go haywire though. The backlash of a unit being taken out can cause errors in their target acquisition software, which can cause their scope of detainment to widen. Meaning they will go after anyone even vaguely resembling the target, down to uniforms and hair color

Now, you CAN disrupt the pack by taking out the E, but all that does is scramble their coordination. If they have your scent or face, they can still come after you and will pursue until detained or destroyed. The best case scenario to avoid having your ligaments removed is to lay down and pray

They're much more point-and-shoot types, the Eye being the gun and the Sight being the bullets. With this system, the E-model tracks, identifies and monitors a target while sending directional data to the S-models in their pack. The S's only need to worry about getting in close enough to latch on

Eye Dogs typically work in squads or packs, one to every 2-4 Sighthounds. One acts as the eyes (duh) and the others are the teeth.

While S-models are equipped with high speed cameras of their own, they aren't capable of using the same instruments as E-models while in pursuit

Eye Dogs work exclusively for AE and cannot be swayed by outsiders. They are bulky and have long running batteries with kinetic charging ability, allowing them to stay in pursuit for days. Each has a tracking chip inside so reps can locate the dog quickly if one flags a suspicious individual

They also link directly into AE's network as a form of ID scan, enabling reps to track and identify persons of interest on a larger scale

The cameras are hidden behind a reinforced visor that gives them the appearance of being faceless
