It is time to abandon the illusion that states serve the peoples. Nation-states are the fundamental pillars of the capitalist system (of capital owners and narrow power centers). To sustain their own power, they need the people, the worker, the unemployed, the army, raw materials, migrants, the family, technology, and ideologies that generate exploitation (nationalism, religiosity, sexism, and scientism). No people, especially forces outside power, can claim that nation-states represent them. Peoples know they are oppressed, exploited, and suppressed under power, yet due to the illusion that life without the state is impossible, they tolerate these usurpations of rights.

At least 400 people marched on the southeast side of the federal building to demand that ICE withdraw from Minnesota and return the land that Fort Snelling occupies to the Dakota people. Many Native people participated in the march, including members of the Dakota, Ojibwe, and Chippewa tribes.

On March 1, demonstrators converged on the Federal Building outside the Twin Cities, temporarily blockading ICE inside it.

On one side of the building, fifty people established a shield wall. Sheriffs attacked immediately, but they held their ground for almost an hour.

The punchline is—he could not have won an election in November 2025.

The problem is capitalism itself—a social order that systematically rewards the pursuit of profit at all costs, concentrating power in fewer and fewer hands and cultivating selfishness and rapacity as if they were civic virtues.

The Trump presidency is the logical conclusion.
