Well it is someone who knows the British expats. They'd would do it if he they there was something in it for them, for sure.
@jamesbottomley
UK-based older project consultant guy with history in both public and private sectors. Enjoys chatting about politics, society, culture, etc. Spent time in many countries, including working in the US, so moderately familiar with other lands.

This is his war and he's getting quite a kick out of it. Surprised he's not going along on bombing runs, but then again, maybe he's not quite as gutsy in real life as he pretends to be on camera.
Very good guy, isn't he.
I'd be happier with all this if there was also a law that UK nationals avoiding paying UK tax were also not permitted to fund UK political parties, run social media sites with political objectives for Britain, or take part in UK media. As it stands, they want their cake and eat it.
The polling for Reform will continue to fall as voters become more aware of their real policies - also it can't have helped Farage bringing in a load of washed up Tory rightwingers from the Truss government.
Reform party proposes new Β£5 note design.
Don't tempt them, they'll take you up on that!
It delivers very few jobs, squeezes already scarce resources like water and energy, pushes up the cost of electricity to consumers, causes wild surges in pollution and CO2 emissions and the profits go to the US.
It got as low as 175,000 in the mid-80s. The difference now is that those were mainly rump left-wing and now it's mainly rump right-wing.
"There is no suggestion that appearing in the documents implies any wrongdoing."
Getting so sick of this MSM formula - so pathetically scared of litigation from these stinkers no jury would find for. There's every suggestion and very good evidence. Say so.

Astonishing that he's done this not just because he supports Putin as a fellow authoritarian member of the far right, but at a time when Russia is busy helping Iran target US facilities. Trump's people are literally helping an enemy to kill their own troops and civilians. Treason, pure and simple.
Trump has just handed an enormous advantage to Putinβs fascist war machine by βtemporarilyβ lifting sanctions on Russian oil, and Britainβs right wing politicians and cheerleaders in the press are either silent or filming the themselves ranting about animals on bank notesβ¦π€‘
Probably involves the secret trade courts and terms that mean the UK has to pay them 1/3 of our national wealth if there is political interference in the contract.
"Petrol retailers have said the price discrepancy is because some forecourts buy oil in bulk weeks in advance... while others buy oil at the daily price, meaning the price is quickly feeding through."
Every station where I live raised their prices immediately.

I hear they charge quite serious monthly fees for this shit.
Also note these figures don't include the billions he has arranged to have slathered all over his kids and mates, much of it from the Middle East and from oil corporations. Astonishing coincidence that right now he has the military engaged in war with another big oil producer.
To obtain a special bonus for Russian oil shipments.
majestic
Genuinely barking.
Except there won't be any water or electricity either, because it will be all be consumed by his datacentres.
It's strange because I thought Reform wanted to move to a digital cryptocurrency (that would brutally impoverish most of the population) instead of the pound, so why do they even care about this?
Let's take a wild guess that they are heavily infiltrated by Iran, China, Russia, etc.
Thiel would have made a good political leader - in the mid-18th century.
Wishful thinking is best kept to yourself Chris.
A reminder to British (and other) tourists heading for Florida - it isn't really safe to do so, they have a large outbreak of measles that the state government are suppressing news of and blocking the mass vaccination campaign that's needed - their governor, Ron de Santis, is a bit of a nutter.
Wow, it's pretty extensive. That's a major threat to both children and adults. Amazing dereliction of duty by their health department and the politicians in charge. Tantamount to murder.
I'm sure this was a factor, but I also recall the hysteria in some of the usual far right media (the Mail fir example) over choosing Turing and even Jane Austen. Women and gays, it would appear, are still to neither be seen nor heard.
Daily Mail front page regurgitating Badenochβs claim that appointing Mandelson USA ambassador makes Starmer βunfit to governβ.
And the co-host of Peter Mandelsonβs drinks reception before last yearβs White House Correspondents Dinner wasβ¦
We've always had that reality here in the UK - it never reached an outright war condition, but it could still do, if Trump continues to use the US war machine the way he is.
Rather bizarre if true. Doubt that it is, more likely this is spin to try to suggest Starmer isn't to blame and the Times has fallen for it.
