Hahaha that’s a good sign! I like both Canson and Clairefontaine (good quality but don’t break the bank) and then Arches is really good, although a bit more expensive.
I also learned watercolor on my own and the one advice I have is that investing in good paper makes all the difference, because it allows for more flexibility and makes easier to fix mistakes. Watercolor is such a fun technique! I love sketching outdoors with my portable kit.
That looks pretty good for someone who doesn't know what they're doing!

I feel you Charlotte 🥹 I’m taking lots of Polaroids these days because I’m too busy to go out, take pictures and not develop them but go to the lab in my case. They kind of help a bit.
Oh noo - I kind of like them but I know how much it sucks not getting the images you were expecting, ugh. Shooting film makes you stay sharp, that's for sure.

I went through the same thing recently: I was looking through old photos taken with my 11mpx DSLR camera and wondered when I started to think that more megapixels were necessary 🤷
