What a day that was and what a time it was when we had Roxanne in @frenchdeptucc.bsky.social as SFS International Fellow. So many cool events from podcasting workshops to film screenings, feminist book talks, poster collages and seminars on nuclear testing. And a little tourism too.

While the workshop activities were primarily designed for adults, some UCC students also organised a small arts and crafts space for children, ensuring families could participate and making the event open and welcoming for everyone
International Protection Applicants and UCC students collaborated in this workshop of storytelling and gardening. Through planting seeds, sharing memories connected to nature and home, and discussing what can be grown in Ireland, participants exchanged knowledge and cultural perspectives
On 14 February, colleagues hosted Stories to Grow, a community workshop, in collaboration with the charity Brij. The event is part of a collaborative project - led by Christine MontanΓ© and CΓ©ire Broderick - bringing together asylum seekers and UCC students of French, Spanish and Migration.
