I'm not ruling out troll, but one thing I've noticed. Other Monster capture games go under the rader (often because the designs of the monsters are often all ORIGINAL and custom and don't look like rip offs), but Palworld, and Pickmon are blowing up BECAUSE they look like ripoffs. (here moreover)
Honestly I would think this was all a big discord malware hacker scam, with how the description was copied & the name was swapped. I doubt it is, but GOD its shocking they would go THAT far & use the same description. Its either a troll or something, but to spend ATLEAST $100 to get it on steam.
The email for pickmon includes 2018 which may just be a random number, but possibly the year the email was created, which was a year before the palworld youtube channel was created... so.... either random 4 numbers, OR so much weird shit is about to be revealed from others digging into this info.

The youtube channel description for pickmon is a near VERBATEM COPY OF PALWORLD's official,
So it's not "oh I think they stole" no they are 1000000% stealing any and every asset they can even from PALWORLD
I'm upset that the mistake makes me look like a hypocrite for my pet peeve, but also its against Twitch's TOS for using the wrong category. I updated the vod to show Legends Z-A after the fact, but I really wish folks wouldn't use the wrong category INTENTIONALLY
but I KNOW some folks do it to ride the popularity of the most recent game that came out.
Of course if theres a romhack it probably won't have a category, BUT if you're playing a rom hack on an Emerald rom, you should say you're streaming Emerald, and not Pokopia, Z-A, or SV.
The reason I'm upset is not because no one told me, but because a MASSIVE pet peeve of mine is when a streamer is live & it shows
"streaming pokopia", "Oh I don't want to be spoiled, I won't watch that"
They are actually streaming a DIFFERENT pokemon game.
I'm upset because mine was a mistake.
Last night I found out only AFTER stream that I was streaming in the wrong category, Last time I streamed I played pokopia, last night it was Z-A, I changed the title & the go live notification, but not the category, so it was still pokopia.
I clipped this because I thought the Squirtle bit was funny but it wasn't until I got a comment complimenting the voices that I did for me to realize how many voices I did in this one clip
