When I saw this fluorescent green dinosaur at the shops today, it was an instant "must buy". πŸ˜…πŸ§ͺπŸ§¬πŸ¦•

The #DIYNAFLUOR name and logo started out as a bit of a joke, but ultimately they have really helped catch peoples attention for our open-source DIY DNA fluorometer project.- tinyurl.com/yfh33dsx

at some point will release adaptors for Thorlabs BBD302 XY stage controller and BPC301 piezo controller
Also Pollux linear stage and Picard filter wheel
And some general guidance for developing python-based device adapters for Β΅Manager

all metrics are pretty much useless, only thing that matters is shipping product that you can sell. In science it can be publishable data, submitted grants, papers etc

so far oil is #1 issue in that thread

I love the "part of microscope" phrase. Your embedding matters!

Microscopy peeps: If you could teach 1 thing to users, what would it be?

For example: geometrical optics/aberrations/RI theory? maybe some electrical thing? how lasers work? where vibrations come from? Why images are blurry?

i guess one explanation is that noise data are 3D (X*Y*T) and time points are highly correlated
