They’re migrating through! I’d try closer to the river mouth or where ever may wigeon are. You’ll eventually encounter one 😅

I’ve been able to see a few now; this by far the closest

I mean like you’ve seen. You get 2-3 pairs at a golf course and they’re can be 20+ in spring very quickly

Nothing mega but at least I had birds! These are three of the four Yellow-broweds found today (our second wave of the autumn), plus Garden and Willow warblers, Blackcaps, several Robins, a couple of Sparrowhawks and 61 Pink-feet. A reasonable days #WestrayBirding in glorious sunshine.

Whenever I have a client in Palos Verdes, I always leave my home about 30 minutes to drive straight up PCH. I don’t know why on earth you would want to sit in traffic when you could stare at the ocean that your entire drive.

I just finished a bluff watch of our local peregrine falcon pair at Palos Verdes Peninsula

I am heading to a patient’s home in Palos Verdes and literally see a peacock with a full tail sprinting like a raptor down a neighborhood street
