So weβll be vibecoding science soon enough, and not just for DNA! The AI models need access to all of the literature, code and data of course. Weβll have to build fully autonomous labs for all common types of experiments. And then we hook it all up in a loop. Exciting times!
In all seriousness though, the tools already know enough of the literature to develop novel ideas, and can definitely reason about how to design DNA vectors and perform experiments. They just fall apart when actually writing DNA or protein sequences. Thatβs fixable.
