Yeah it's just basically an extra room for the bar it seems like. Smaller whiskey selection (and liquor in general, I believe) but also doing food.

Also, O'Sullivan's Snug opened! Had a pint and a whiskey there. Much calmer atmosphere than the main bar.

Sliders with onion straws

We tried Wood & Iron last night, the new sports bar in Virginia Square at GMU. Service was good. I didn't care for the wings (too much hickory flavor) or the "pepperoni rolls" (too much cheese, not enough pepperoni) but the sliders with onion straws were great.

What?! I love the Pentagon City Whole Foods bar. And I miss the Clarendon one.

Virginia ABC in my neighborhood got in some allocated whiskeys (if that's your type of thing) - got the second to last Eagle Rare and a bottle of Buffalo Trace.

The snow is pretty. I am glad for it.

I have had a very frustrating and expensive experience with ME Flow this week. Just terrible. Thank god the weather has changed (our air con is broken, I've been miserable at night).
Hoping FH Furr does better. They can't exactly do worse. Especially since their first visit will be free.

The New Orleans French Quarter/CBD Hilton Garden Inn charged me $6 for water the instant I checked in and despite my request haven't refunded it.
