Apparently one of my most cancellable takes is that I'm utterly indifferent to standard/summer time. Change the clocks each year, permanently make it one or the other I genuinely don't mind any of those options.

There are two reasons that late teenage / early twenties me remembers that episode.... (Retroactively recognising envy here).

I remember an episode with Christina Hendricks. But other than "it has Christina Hendricks in it" I would struggle with any other details.

To me qithout glasses on, the General (presuming the quoted General is the one on the picture) looks enough like Sean Connery in The Hunt for Red October that I've now just got the phrase "Shpongebob Shquarepantsh" stuck in my head.

The other thing that's making me lean towards pulling the trigger now is potential price increases for the actual console itself. Plus my wife would undoubtedly play it too, so would the 5yo probably.

Pokopia is really tempting me to save up for a Switch 2. So far the only thing I would have really played on it that I couldn't play on the original switch was Two Point Museum, but I've already played through that (100+ hours) on the PC. But Pokopia looks really cute and fun.

I finished it for the first time last week. Thought it was great. I need to try and order the sequels or see if I can find them in a store.

First discussion with the WellBN clinician. She was really nice, confirmed that they'd sent the referral for fertility preservation. Had a discussion about different types of HRT (gels vs patches). Took the details of my cardiologist and said they'd write to them for a discussion before prescribing

They're literally teachers, so you'd like to hope they do quite well on the "encouraging people's personal development" front.

I really like that there are actually a lot of really good options in that first area. If you want you could have a balanced team that would get through the story mode consisting entirely of Pokémon you get before you get to school for the first time.

Oh, and your exp all is just on. All the time. But you have probably already spotted that. And unlike XY there is no option to turn it off if you want to play it that way.

Yeah, a bunch of the QoL changes since then have involved centralising a lot of that kind of stuff and either just having it in a menu, or at the Pokémon centre. Stuff like the move delete/remember function as well as name changes and things like that.

I think you can rename at pretty much any point? Or at least at any Pokémon centre?

That sounds pretty horrible. Especially when you were trying to manage folks being racist and/or ableist in your mentions too.
