In Animal Crossing news:

- caught a coelacanth
- finally acquired castle towers so castle is done
- made a heart shaped pond
- bred green mums! Still working on blue roses and need to start purple pansies

But this isn’t quite right? It’s got an odd aftertaste, too.

So, while these were both better than previous things I’ve tried, they are still a little flat for me. Neither was sweet, so points there but I don’t think I’ll buy more of these.

I did chill and serve in a proper glass as recommended

No alcohol wine review number 2- the Chardonnay.

My go to is usually pinot Grigio but I’ll drink Chardonnay or sauce blanc in a pinch. I like the smell of this one better but the flavor is a little blah? Like no one ages Chardonnay in oak anymore which I think is a problem- love an oaky chard 1/2

First impression of this faux Sauv blanc (not a Pinot as I reported earlier) is… not bad? Like Sauv B is not my favorite and I’m picky about mine (I like them from down under) but this does taste like a California Sauv.

It tastes like wine.

Curious about the Chardonnay now. Tomorrow maybe.

Better than 2 weeks ago

Post op recheck- everything is clear, I seem to be progressing better than they anticipated (I showed up in jeans and this was met with a WOW). Final recheck in 3 months to make sure everything is sealed up.

My faux Pinot arrived in time to celebrate.

I woke up and started my rounds in Animal Crossing and… found a lily of the valley!

My island is like 85% where I want it and I didn’t realize I was close to five stars. But I got my gold watering can and we’re good!

I’ve felt flat and tapped a lot of the last six weeks. Today I thought about my sketch book, and I toyed with a scene for a story I owe someone, and I nearly went and finished my mock up pants- decided to wait until after my incisions healed for that.

But oh it’s coming back.

I had a wine shop for a while and like 2 years ago we got a full grocery store half a mile from home. There’s a Trader Joe’s another half mile from there.

I discovered them because they did have a couple of their IPAs in Stew Leonard’s. They appear to mostly distribute online

It’s Athletic- their Raspberry Expresso limited brew. We got a case with that, their version of Guinness and a red as well as some hop seltzer right before I went in. Adore their IPAs

Well I had a faux stout which did not seem particularly fizzy. I guess we will see. I wasn’t going to try seltzer but getting bored with water

I got him to show up finally but missed my shot so I’m trying again in a modified location. If this fails I’m moving to another spot.

Trying to farm parts off Farosh for armor upgrades would be easier if this bastard spawned where and when he’s supposed to. I have wasted 3 (in game) days in Faron looking for his sparky ass to show up.

Slowly moving back onto my normal diet this week. Re-introducing rice and kale tonight. Wonder if it’s too early for carbonation
