My current Patch Collection in a Picture frame with the ukrainian colours as a backdrop. Five patches are from five different campaigns of Jake Broe, but most of the patches are from recurring donations to 69th sniffing brigade for the past 18 months. There is room for three more patches on the lower right.

Update time, more patches, more hardware for ukraine!
Sadly, with the patch for April and the current Jake Broe campaign, the frame will be completed. And yet, russian warmongers are still breathing and killing, keep supporting Ukraine!

And he is quite vocal here on bluesky, too. I heard some of his political views on @techconnectify.bsky.social some time ago, and it was only a question of timing when it slipped into his videos. I am still watching the solar part, but it is already a good one.

True, he cannot even see as far as next week, he will be irrelevant soon. But corporations, political camps and elites / oligarchs are likely planning ahead, no need to play nice with Panama, Türkiye and other transit controlling parties. Greenland is just another level of distraction, though.

At the current rate Russia, the US and the world at large are going through wars, disasters and fossil fuels, there will be no need for icebreakers in the not so distant future. As soon as the northern routes are passable all year, expect a shift of naval force as well as cargo power. 😣

This. US voting still works as if done by horse riders. Why keep the messy electoral college? Maybe someday include more than two parties or restore faith and interest so they don't need billions of dollars and knock on every door to win. But then again, maybe Americans are not ready for post-1900.

Ah, sure, those poor little green men that were totally born in Ukraine, raised against their evil oppressors in Kyiv and got bombed while peacefully helping the people with voting in the census. Didn't Putin praise them as the Russian army later on state TV?

I found it hard to rationalize wishing for 🇷🇺s collapse on Christmas, but then I remembered years of brutal war followed by Russian ignorance regarding their failure and constant demise, interception of horrific phone calls and their history of hate.
Let. Them. Crumble.

I sincerely hope that europe will create a combined military force that can protect all peaceful countries without asking USA for permission, but this will take time.

NATO is bound by its members not to attack unless attacked, and ukraine cannot be included at the moment because of Trump, Orban and other weasels. On the other hand, no country will step forward alone and fight russia because doing so might deny them NATO protection if putin would retaliate.

Maybe, but taxes are more than the income of a country (or a union), they steer. Tax exemptions were granted for occasional gifts and low volume, low value shipments. It was misused for years to undercut any competition in the west, making Temu, Shein and Ali* profitable.
I hope this reverts that.
