We hope you will join the Special Issue to discusss innovative solutions reinforcing democratic participation and addressing the challenges of modern democracies.
Political & civic participation are critical during times of crisis. We will examine conceptual, empirical, and practical innovations that foster democratic citizenship, with some focus on advances in civic and citizenship education (CCE) and lifelong learning.
This Special Issue aims to explore strategies for strengthening responsible democratic citizenship by enhancing individuals’ capacities to act as engaged citizens.
