First bloom of the season!

Christian, transportation nerd, space, music, antiques. Still preoccupied with 1985... "My heart is warm with the friends I make, And better friends I'll not be knowing Yet there isn't a train I wouldn't take, No matter where it's going..."
First bloom of the season!
This is a big mood xD
It's that time again!
Mood xD
Do you really need a rain cover with that built in hoodie you have on your head?
The moon has risen, and a were-Shep has emerged, claiming a vehicle as their new recliner. Is it yours? What will you do?
While these modern cars lack style, they sure make up for it in comfort.
They may call it streamlined, I say it's "ergonomic"...

I know we're not always that exciting, but you're always welcome in our little group!
It's all in the bait
Forced off a bus in the middle of nowhere on a foggy night. Infinite possible paths unfold in front of me, their destinations obscured by the heavy night air...and ominous message on the sign above suggests I'm not alone...nor should I linger very long...
Miles of road beneath my feet, the growing realization that age old phrase burns itself into my brain, finally understanding what it truly means, and the truth of it all...Even if I could find my way back, the only thing that remains are the shadows of what once was, and can never be again...there are only two options before me now...one I am not sure how long I can face, and the other, is getting harder and harder to ignore...
How does it feel? To be on your own? With no direction home? Like a complete unknown? Like a rolling stone? The miles behind me erode into nothingness...as though it never existed at all. All that exists is the now...and even that is fleeting...each beat of my heart, each breath that I take, propels me further into the unknown, and farther from what was home...The fog shows no sign of lifting, the morning far beyond whatever horizon awaits, if there even is one to come. The urge to press on grows weaker as the fog and air grow heavier...How long has it been since I got here? How long until I find my way? How long til I can feel at home? Will I even find one again? Tell me, how does it feel...
Tonight I'll sing my songs again, I'll play the game and pretend...
But all my words come back to me in shades of mediocrity, like emptiness in harmony...I need someone to comfort me...Homeward bound...
I wish I was homeward bound...

A pair of General Electric B36-7s and a B30-7 team up on the Tropicana Juice Train.
From 1972 until about 2012, a solid train full of Florida Orange Juice left Bradenton, FL, every single day, bound for New Jersey and the Northeast market. Here a trio of GE's finest head up one of these trains in the Seaboard System era, about 1985.
You know it was a good time if you can't remember it!

Time spent with the ones you love is never wasted!
Nearly 30 years old, and over a million miles behind her, E6 No. 510 still looks sharp as she brings the "Silver Star" through a small Carolina town.
Roll out those lazy, hazy, crazy days of summer!
Those days of soda, and pretzels, and beer.

Dust off the sun and moon and sing a song of cheer!
Random Spoonbill flew in during my walk. I can't remember the last time I've seen one in the wild.
