Section 4 of FireRed Oak Challenge complete! 15 new pokemon for 117 total before badge 4 from Blaine. Short-ish section, most catches were from Cinnabar and the Power Plant Omanyte was the only level up that required some grinding, but wasn’t bad at all.

Also I got Golduck this section but traded him for Lickitung so uhhhh… just pretend he’s in there

Section 3 of FireRed Professor Oak Challenge complete! 52 new Pokemon and 103 total before badge 3 from Koga! Very big section but surprisingly few Pokemon that need to evolve, the last 2 were Dragonite and Rhydon, since their evolution levels are so high.

Hard at work on FR Professor Oak this weekend. Only 10 Pokemon left of the 50 or so in section 3. Got the difficult safari catches done, current biggest obstacles are evolving Dratini and catching the 1% Grimer in Celadon

Tri Attack is such a bizarre move, dude. Like, it’s 3 energy beams, and it can cause one of 3 statuses, that’s fine. But then they gave it to any Pokemon that have a 3 in 1 design. It makes sense for Magneton but what about Dodrio says “yeah this guy can use elemental magic to burn or paralyze you

Me switching constantly between FireRed and Pokopia the last few days

Section 2 of the FireRed Oak Challenge complete! 51 total Pokemon before Misty! Overall not a bad section. Stealing the extra moon stones was the only grindy bit, but all the new tools like running shoes, bike, and vs seeker make leveling way easier.

AND I got the limited time Mario milk, we stay winning

Then on my way out of Mt Moon I encountered another clefairy, so I used thief just to check and I got another one

…so guess who now has 5 moon stones before Misty?

Part 2 of the FR oak challenge has an interesting side quest. There’s 4 pokemon this section that evolve via moon stone, but only 2 to pick up. But since wild clefairy can hold moon stones 5% of the time, you need to run around until you’re able to steal the other 2.

Only played a bit of pokopia so far but ngl they kinda cooked on this one

Got Beeb up to level 29. I didn’t work that much on the oak challenge this weekend, but I plan to make a lot of progress during work. Aiming to finish section 1 by Friday
