That is true and has always been true in my 67 years on this earth. Addiction to drugs and alcohol is what my family has dealt with, but no gambling addicts.

Have you ever heard of unforeseen bad news? I've worked hard all my life and owe nothing, but know know people who were doing ok until a medical or some other disaster. I hate that it seems no grace is given to those unfortunate enough to be in these situations.

I worked with the poor and disabled. I did not find this to be true. I'm talking rural Alabama with one of the poorest counties in the nation. Many didn't even have running water. Cardboard cutouts to place in broken windows.

Which many banks helped perpetrate. Babysit? Do. occasional lawn service? We'll add that into your income. I despise big corporations taking advantage of people who just wanted a shot at the American dream.

I would think if they can't afford it, their credit check should reflect that.

We can throw another $500,000,000,000 at the Pentagon this year and spend $1,000,000,000/day on a wholly useless war, but we can't afford to hire doctors and nurses to take care of our veterans? The United States is such an irresponsible, messed up country right now.
