That being said, I’m sure the majority of people understand that being online is only a fraction of our real selves and what we do outside of digital spaces. Other things take priority and can be sometimes something we need to save for later to get back to.
I can completely relate to this. It’s not that I’m dismissive, and I try to make an effort to apologise for late replies (I am self aware).
But it can get overwhelming sometimes, especially when real life is happening. And of course, never want to seem rude, or be the “left on read” guy.
