A fractal image that uses a program called 'Mandelbulber' to render incredibly high detailed 3D fractal images. This was my first render, played with the settings until it looked nice to my eyes, kind of like a sheet made of liquid, floating in a blue/grey void with peaks and valleys that look a little like deep-space photography of celestial forms.

An edit of the first, made more ghostly, with a different level of chaos sweeping the peaks higher into the sky, and with greater level of 'glow'. This one took about an hour to render on my home pc.

Here is the third edit, within the program 'Mandelbulber' there are incredibly deep parameters, most of which are too mathy for me to make sense of... but there is also a 'material' generator section that uses terms I am more familiar with, so this is the same initial fractal space again turned, and made to look like it is formed out of glassy red liquid. 7k original available on request.

I've been really loving making stuff in #VR this week, using Space Elevator (Q3 - included in Horizon+ 'Indie Games' collection) & Open Block (free! Q3 store) as well as Open Brush via PC. Been also warming my room up rendering fractals in #Mandelbulber, like these!
