Dragon Age II's 15th anniversary just passed. The broader discourse is still pretty hard on it, though folks like myself have learned to love it. Here's one of my favorite pieces of my own discussing how it, Citizen Sleeper, and The Wire handle their city based settings and the politics of them.
been listening to the early Ridge Racer soundtracks (early as in up through RRV) and I think the conclusion I'm coming to is that like. yeah R4's music is iconic but we as a society have honestly been sleeping on Rage Racer's and RRV's music extremely hard for a good while now
The only suitable replacement would be a different Carbuncle

Uploading something from Pat's collection: Perfect Prince, a self-proclaimed "Prince Raising ADV (with Boys' Love elements)" with a soundtrack composed by Masaharu Iwata, Ayako Saso, and Shinji Hosoe(?!) that has all but disappeared from the face of the internet archive.org/details/perf...

I've been playing a couple hours of Duck Game with friends almost every week for years and it somehow keeps getting funnier. Most games would kill to have its mechanical depth.

Heart surgery coming soon and I got a better idea of the cost (a few thousand)
Everyone has already helped so much, so DON'T feel like you have to, but if you like the stuff I do on the web, one way to say thanks is throwing a dollar to my ko-fi! It's all being set aside to help cover those costs πββοΈ
playing Culdcept DS and the tutorial NPC is crazy fucked up
The final Minisode is here! Wren and I chatted about Weapons and then some other nonsense on this Final MiniEP. Look forward to Oops all Movies 3 coming soon... Unless there's another surprise waiting? Check it out now! sites.libsyn.com/485343/minie...

This week Iβve translated the short documentary Ise-Shima, the 1949 directorial debut from the man behind Godzilla, Ishiro Honda!
Enjoy the start of one of the most famous names in movies, the first instance of underwater filming in Japan, and lots of post-war anxieties!
