My brain at 4 am:
Maybe they could have toast that pops up gradually with football results printed on. A sort of toaster/vidiprinter mash up.

MP Estate Planning sells trusts to the elderly to avoid IHT & care fees.

They don't work.

That's just the start - our investigation found:

🚩 False claims of expertise
🚩 A "head of legal" who doesn't exist
🚩 A website made of AI slop
🚩 A mysterious £1.7m owed to HMRC

The rich world just made the biggest intervention in oil markets in modern history.
So why did crude prices barely budge?
Here's my 10m primer on the plumbing of the global economy and the surprisingly simple mathematics underlying the energy shock of 2026👇 youtu.be/0Rl51kNQ1Og?...

People like this and orgs like GB News do not want social cohesion to work because they’d do themselves out of a ‘job.’

They profit out of fear and hate.

When that is challenged, they have nothing else.

Our country is so much better than they give it credit.

All movement towards greater equality in matters of race, gender and sexuality, across the modern West, was achieved by simply taking no account of the views of the very many people who didn't want it to happen.

We should get back to this.

To paraphrase Kwame Ture, their bigotry is their problem. Their power to inflict their terrible ideas on the rest of us is our problem.

Oil prices wouldn't be all over the news today if more of our economy was powered by local, secure renewable energy.

This isn't an "energy crisis". It's a fossil fuel crisis.

44% of UK electricity came from renewables in 2025. More of that plus an electrified economy => no more oil shocks.

ok fine: I think Lily Allen's latest album was both musically incredibly uninteresting and also just over the top given that guy just seems....twattish, I don't think you get to air your dirty laundry in public to that extent if your husband was mostly just.....a twat

Britain leads the world in offshore wind generation, in part because of experience developing offshore oil and gas extraction in the North Sea. If this isn't energy resilience- and a great British success story for the flag enthusiasts- then what is?

Evolution of Viktor Orbán's government propaganda:

2017: “Let’s not let Soros have the last laugh!”

2026: “Let’s not let Zelensky have the last laugh!”

By the way, can anyone guess the common feature that makes both such convenient scapegoats for a far-right government?

The concept of codified, universal human rights was the response to a war in which tens of millions of people had to die to repress the idea that people are fundamentally unequal, and most of them are inferior, and available to be abused.
