The femoral nerve block... out of fashion?
In my opinion, too many people are doing blocks near the adductor canal when they should be doing it "properly" and targeting the femoral nerve branches more proximally.

When I can, linear(thin). When I can't, curvilinear.Transverse > oblique > parasagittal > OOP > USS assisted (marking TP then LOR) > no USS in order of preference. Suspect that most of mine are PSO curvilinear or assisted in the tricky patients. In a perfect world, they'd mostly be transverse linear
