i3 was a BEV, only some of them had range extenders. Terrific car! We own an iX3 BEV now and love it

I think the i8 and i3 were both tremendously important cars as originally specced… but they’re completely obsolete now so why the hell not do this?

There’s a guy on TikTok swapping a B58 into an old i8. If you’re not a car person you will have no idea what that means. If you are, you would agree with me that it is an amazing idea.
