Of course, 10 years ago the Greens were kind of a fringe party, so mainly focused on a single-issue, the environment. With the realignment going on in our politics and the many leaving Labour, they can expand to make noise about wealth redistribution, Middle Eastern politics, trans rights, etc.

I... think that it's the US? As Labour doesn't seem to have any flair for theatrics. They're sort of trying to ape Trumpism in a half-hearted way, with the Blue Labour creeps like Glasman probably telling them to follow Trump more, but it's more ridiculous here as there's less of a market for it.

The media constantly plays up Reform. They are given spots all over the establishment media, from the BBC to The Times. You have articles praising them and treating them as the reasonable ones, while the Greens are attacked and kept out of the coverage. You can really see how complicit UK media is.

Israel's forces know that they can act with impunity. The only power that could really challenge them, the US, will support them at all costs.

At the end of Louis Theroux's documentary he has to hide from the IDF as they are hunting Palestinians and he suspects they might kill him too.

Theroux says, "Can we ring the Police."

And the Palestinian laughs, there is no one who will protect them from Israel.

The Green Party have won more elections since 2024 than Reform, they have collected more votes.

Yet Reform get all the TV coverage and the Green Party get none.

Yet Reform aren't as popular even when they are shoved down your throat.

I'm glad that they did! Though it does leave me thinking of all those who weren't able to. Hence why it was so important for those who fought to just win basic rights. And despite the lies that the ghouls spread, it is now known that trans people are out there!

I would never have been able to transition in my youth, because transition was a binary thing, and I'm not a binary person. I am grateful for trans people who fought to open the pathways for those of us who weren't going to lie about who we are to access gender care.

Pretty much. WW2 saw the US establish itself as kind of the predominant power in the world. They felt that they could just start wars with impunity, and have kept it up, relying on their strength to avoid proper pushback. And they are spiralling downwards under Trump, openly doing these horrors.
