X chromosome dosage drives statin-induced dysglycemia and mitochondrial dysfunction - Nature Communications Women are more likely than men to experience adverse statin effects, particularly new-onset diabetes and muscle weakness. Here the authors show that statin-treated female mice show reduced levels of d...

Do these claims apply equally to male and female?

(Yes - I saw the CNN article was about a woman.)

If you have chronic pain, even much less intense, finding NHS medicine that helps is amazingly wonderful.

When that becomes unavailable after a few months, discontinued, and no-one seems able to help, it is incredibly upsetting.

Have found similar abroad.

OK this is nuts.

A vulnerability in the Companies House website that let *anyone* with an account view ***ANY COMPANY'S DASHBOARD***, see all personal info and - I think - modify company records.

My DPD guy delivered yesterday - but it was only despatched at 01:00 this morning and estimated for Monday...

And what has Amazon got to do with it? This was not bought through them at all!

SEND THE MARINES
words and music by Tom Lehrer

When someone makes a move
Of which we don't approve,
Who is it that always intervenes?
U.N. and O.A.S.,
They have their place, I guess,
But first-
Send the Marines!

Every other country in the world is terrorised by the regime which claims to be the govt. of the USA having long-range nuclear missiles which could reach their cities.

But that is just fine and dandy.

Put an additional tax on non-folding door mirrors.

Bigger cars with door mirrors sticking out make walking across car parks, and on narrow pavements, a pain.

Maybe tax should be based on physical factors - LxHxW + Weight? W to include non-folding mirrors. πŸͺžπŸͺžπŸ˜€

Density is important.
But what is truly amazing is that there are many, many little jokelets in every scene. The horse names on the bookies' signs.

This means that it bears repetition much better than many other ads - simply because there's bound to be something you have not yet noticed.

Ed Miliband must step in and bar Tesla from holding an energy licence.

Elon Musk is a threat to our national security and clearly not a fit person to operate in our energy industry.

We can’t have the lights go out because he’s having a strop on X.

Make it really easy to submit comments about validity and accuracy of papers.

(Though the need to check lots of such comments is itself a problem.)

They always say it was always having a cup of tea that won the war.

Churchill bought world's supply of tea so we would have enough.

Hence, merging Churchill, the war, and wildlife, maybe we should have a water otter on the notes?

As oil prices go up, exec pay will go up faster because they are doing a fantastic job despite the difficulties.

Then when oil prices fall, exec pay will still keep rising faster because they are so good at lowering the prices...

All assuming zero loading/discharging times.

Plus a pretty hefty forecourt for refuelling the trucks.

Being "persuaded" to donate it to charity doesn't - to even the slightest extent - exonerate his demands and acceptance of the money.

That's even if he did donate it. (I doubt he will.)

Though the technology to overcome was not so developed then.

Ban.

If someone has cryptocurrency, they can always convert to "real" money" and donate that. So a ban does not stop donations.

(Unfortunately, that too has loads of issues.)

Specifically regards food. It is interesting that some supermarkets are selling things like kefir with fruit, and baked beans, with massively lower sugar content than traditional for other products on these areas.

That is, they might be doing more than the govt.
