I'm very confused about this.
Valve is a games distributor yes, but the ones who use the music are the publisher's themselves aka Rockstar, SEGA, etc. not Valve. Why would Valve have any legal obligation to obtain a license for music that they themselves aren't distributing directly?

To be fair, that system was my old music production system that I repurposed as my sound library server for Vienna. While mostly consumer, the x99 chipset on that board did allow me to upgrade to a decent Xeon at one point.
The new Thinkstation I moved to has more legs but yes you are correct lol.

Atlas 2 Interface
Just discovered Atlas 2 from Algonaut. Tried their free trial and honestly, anything that gives any kind of reasonable context to parts of my sound library I'm not able to really use either because of naming, age of acquisition, or just by nature of being, is a GREAT program imo. Think I'ma buy in.
Doing a "medium I guess" upgrade to my sound library server. Current system has always been a bit suspect (possible problems on the motherboard) but was relatively stable. Now I'll have an upgrade path that makes more sense. Just waiting for the new system and parts to get here.
