Think of how bad things must be for a Supreme Court Justice to feel he has to explain why it's a good idea to have laws enacted by legislators instead of decreed by wannabe dictators

Amid these dark moments, something important is beginning to shift.
It's clearly the result of healthy political pressure - which we must sustain, and build.
So simply naming someone is doxxing, but taking photos and license plate numbers to create a database of the opposition for government stalking and harassment purposes is not?
Naming someone is not doxxing them, and moving them to another city to kill more is conspiracy against rights.
Shitβs so bad in Minnesota that heβs gonna have to release the Epstein files to distract from it
Naming someone is not doxxing. They arenβt undercover. They arenβt intelligence agents overseas. This is outrageous - we are supposed to be a free Republic and these people want an authoritarian police state. Lawsuits should be filed & ranking Dems in Congress should act.

United States Completes WHO Withdrawal WASHINGTON β Β January 22, 2026 β The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services and the U.S. Department of State today announced the United Statesβ completion of its withdrawal from the World Health Organization (WHO) due to the organization's mishandling of the COVID-19 pandemic that arose out of Wuhan, China, its failure to adopt urgently needed reforms, and its inability to demonstrate independence from the inappropriate political influence of WHO member states.
The United States has officially withdrawn from the World Health Organization.
This is a shameful move that puts both Americans and people all over the world at greater risk from disease outbreaks, which require international collaboration to contain.
Republicans spent the entire hearing accusing Jack Smith of prosecuting Trump for political reasons and falsely claiming he was being directed by Biden and Garland. Ironically, while they were doing that, Trump was telling Bondi on Truth Social that she should prosecute Smith.

History wonβt debate this.
It will file it under: pathetic failure.
Thereβs no reforming this

Federal authorities have claimed that the 55-year-oldβs death was the result of a suicide, but a witness has alleged he saw guards pinning and choking the man.
russia is preparing another massive combined attack to freeze us, Ukrainians to death.
This is a large-scale crime against humanity, unfolding right now, live.
ICYMI β In negative degrees weather they took a LEGAL naturalized citizen out in his underwear, after trashing his house.
They released him an hour later.
The cruelty is the point. (From @thejfreakinc.bsky.social )

There are people who could stop this if they wanted to stop this craziness. There are constitutional ways to address a president who is running amuck. Those who could get him out of office don't seem to choose that. This is what keeps me awake nights.
There is no calvary expected.
Danish Parliament Deputy Speaker Lars-Christian Brask:
"If I could come with some advice, it would be for the Senate & House to start to take control of political power in America because with this erratic & mad behaviour, you have to ask the question, is the President capable of running the US?"
Ellison: This is the essence of dictatorship. Itβs the essence of it. And weβve got to get over the idea that this couldnβt happen here. Not only could it happen hereβitβs happening here.
U.S. defense officials are saying 1,500 active-duty soldiers are on standby in Alaska for possible deployment to Minneapolis. Thatβs on top of the 3,000+ ICE agents already in the area.
We donβt really believe this is about undocumented immigrant crime in Minneapolis, do we?
MLK Jr. said America suffers not just from "the vitriolic words and actions of the bad people but for the appalling silence of the good people."
Remember this.
Today we honor Dr. King by remembering that his legacy wasnβt comfort or quiet it was courage, sacrifice, and resistance in the face of injustice. He knew progress is never handed down; itβs pushed forward by ordinary people who refuse to accept inequality as normal.
A joke for the history buffs.
We are watching one of the wildest things a nation-state has ever done: A superpower is committing suicide because the GOP Congress is too cowardly to stand up to the Mad King.
This is one of the wildest moments in all of geopolitics ever.
