I think the biggest damage to the art community was the obsolescence of gallery sites (y!, deviantart, etc) and the rise of scroll-by social media, like twitter and even tumblr. Art is not ''content'', you shouldnt need to post art every day (or every month!) to be relevant. This mindset sucks.

i played a demo for a game called SPECTRA for two hours yesterday. some technical parts still feel very rough right now, but it has some beautiful visuals inspired by real-life architecture and fun mechanics, so i hope more people give it a try.

She still has a bioresonance blocker/illusion module, but most of her weaponry is gone save for a spear and shield
Her arm blade is still a grappling hook but she uses it for fishing and mobility, never for combat
