I do not care much for the main gimmick of Transformers to be honest. Techno organic alien robots are dope as hell, I do not care about trucks however.

I like how Bionicles share the parts of Transformers I like while being able to ditch the parts I dont care for lol

Then out of nowhere the Toa Mata show up washing up on the beach (that is formed on top of the face of Mata Nui) with no clue who they are or what they are doing there.

Mutuka also has a massive plan to mind wipe all the Matoran so they see him as god but the second part gets interrupted by the Toa Metru who after saving their people lose their Toa abilities and Mutuka is just an ass for a few thousand years.

Then Mutuka chose right as they were almost home to put Mata Nui into a comma and have him crash into one of the moons formed out pieces of Spherus Magna (that held all the water) because he was jelous that the god robot was treated like a god robot.

The Great Beings saw the war and this led to that and they decided to craft a giant ass robot Mata Nui, who contained the Matoran Universe, go into space to study other civilizations to then come back and repair the doomed planet, the doomed planet that then split into 3 parts

The great beings got tired of micromanageing everything so they made the Element Lords to govern the major tribes of Spherus Magna while they fucked off.
The Element lords discovered the Energized Protodermis and started all out war.

I'm in too deep I know so much Bionicle lore.
