Wonderful! Congratulations.
Few things are better than a day at the beach.
The day has been survived.
Thinking of those who ask me 'how do you do it?' (It being ministry and 3 small children).
And the answer is, badly.
I do it badly, I don't do it all.
I hold myself to an impossible standard and hope for the best.
And in amongst my human failings, God's grace abounds.
I'm always so grateful for any place that offers 'stuff' during the holidays - a rainy holiday to Herefordshire was made a whole heap better by Messy Church at the Cathedral that we accidentally joined.
Half term is A LOT.
Send support, chocolate, quiet vibes etc.
Towcester (amongst others).
Sorry your day has ended up with an A&E trip, hope everything is okay?
Tomorrow, I'm walking 20 miles for Breast Cancer Now.
To be entirely honest it feels like a very long way!

This makes me beyond cross. Once again, women bear the brunt of policy changes and budget cuts.
A tiny joy: sharing a proper pot of tea with a friend.
Another tiny joy: making a second pot of tea to have with the same friend.
This is impressive. I, however, love a re-read. It's like snuggling under a cosy blanket.
But I'll always remember a much loved English teacher recounting -with some shock- having been asked 'how many books do you think you will read before you die?'.
Thank you for the truly excellent worship music. What a gift!
First ever @onfiremission.bsky.social and I can firmly say it lived up to the hype and wowsers, is God ever good. #OFMonsite2025
I always point out tractors - but mainly it's just to myself.
Amazing!

Happy day off. The toddler and pre-schooler have lego out - which immediately got tipped everywhere.
Which sounds like it should be some lovely Japanese tree with nice leaves. But, alas, it is not.
Thanks so much, I found the writing process pretty cathartic but there's possibly more to write.
Quite.
Yup.
I saw a job advert today that asked applicants to 'manifest on paper' which really sounds pretty unfortunate (and a little messy).
The preschooler had a danger nap today, so clearly won't sleep until he's 16.
They are so hard - no shame needed. Sometimes, we can't do the theological stuff whilst we are in it; sometimes the theological work is coming out the other side.
This looks absolutely brilliant. Unfortunately, it's not on a day that works for me - so we will have to have meet for a cuppa afterwards so I can hear all about it.
Our lockdown entertainment was waving at the bin lorries from our flat.
Great Day Off ambitions of drinking coffee and chatting to a friend whilst our children entertain themselves in the soft play. So, of course, I spent an hour being squished between foam rollers and sat in the ball pit.
Liverpool BA? Or is that the wrong pink?
