Dems just scored an upset win in a New Hampshire special election:
Democrat Bobbi Boudman won the special election for Carroll County District 7, defeating Republican Dale Fincher 51-47% in a district that voted Republican by more than 13 points just 16 months ago.
(We are also dealing with an expensive plumbing issue that will require tearing a wall open, and a separate water-line issue that isn’t on us but has a lot of complicated scheduling & excavation work involved. Plus business and general life requirements. It’s been a challenging week.)
That was just for Torchy, to be clear. Effie is, shall we say, robustly healthy, and not currently in need of dental work; we’ll get her tests done when we’re not dealing with 15 other things, but I’m not overly concerned for her, esp when she & her sister have been together their entire lives.
