I actually leapt off the couch punching the air in excitement and screaming in joy. My god, the tension of it all, and the supreme relief that it was over and the contract fulfilled. PHEW.

So yeah, MARATHON's a great fucking game all in all!

And I almost didn't make it! A squad-mate got struck down right as I activated the exfil marker. I tried to go revive him, got knocked down and revived by our third mate, only for him to get struck down, too. And then I got struck down *again!* while they expired. Had to crawl to the exfil point

Jesus Christ, these "Complete in a single run" priority missions are *INSANE!* I can barely get two steps into a mission before I'm murdered by robots, turrets, or other players.

That said, I was able to complete my NuCaloric contract and goddamn, was that ever so fucking satisfying!

Turn the pages, read the words, learn through example and experience, and use that sponge in your skull before you lose it.
