The call to action is solid, though sadly nothing terribly new. Secure by design, adapt policies and practices. Liability, eridacate classes of vulns.
Think of this as unlocking higher dimensions in cryptography, more space/options. By finding a way to map "abstract" algebra to complex geometry, researchers solved a key bottleneck. This gives us mathematically rigorous tools to secure the Internet against future quantum computers.
If I understand this correctly, major breakthrough in post-quantum cryptography. By solving the principal ideal problem in higher dimensions, we can now map complex algebra to geometric isogenies, unlocking new tools to secure the Internet against cryptographically relevant quantum attacks.
