Genny is a possible solution but it's oriented around using the whole Genesis as a single instrument (using all tracks for polyphony) so it's hard to make it authentic to the real console

Only reason I haven't made more Genesis/Mega Drive music is because I don't want to leave the warmth and comfort of a full featured DAW

This is really refreshing though, going back to a game where you just talk to everyone, grind a bit, do a dungeon, and everything is animated quick and snappy

Oh I can get the current time from the weather API too. Not too hard to get it through NTP though

There we go… now it actually pulls the temperature from the current time instead of midnight. It’s quite warm today
