it also serves as an archive / gallery where you can always look at the artist current and past subs / porfolio.
So it's very good for that too.

As for bluesky or such social and endless scrolling media sites:
it is more like, "ok if I scroll at the same time you post, or someone reposts it, I might get a chance to see it in the timeline ;)
While on FA you see all subs together in an easily watchable format, and easy to clear.

Yes Furaffinity is my main source of Art :)
I have Insta , but almost never checks it..
and bluesky well it serves another purpose, contrary to Furaffinity where you won't "miss" anything because it stays in your notifications and can mass watch and clear.
