Replaced a rough 2D backdrop with a quick little intro CS for this dialogue and felt that satisfying little quality ratchet click one more click towards legitimacy

Everything's crazy and this feels stupid, but I started this when things were only a little bit crazy and I'm all in now, so check out my story-driven-bullet-hell-with-RPG-battles game about astral-projecting yourself into a network: store.steampowered.com/app/4352590/...
It sure is!
Just got my store page up for Trace Root- a twin-stick bullet-hell with turn-based RPG battles (!?) that I've been working on solo for a while now: store.steampowered.com/app/4352590/...
It's a trying time to be a game dev, and wishlists / reskeets mean more than you could possibly imagine.
I make music, and am in a similar position but for art in my own project. Would you be interested in bartering time for time?
I wonder how he feels about the rest of Europe's bond investments.
Game developers trying to pick a release date that avoids AAA releases, first party showcases, holidays or world war 3
God I adore this
I never got to use Awaitable, but does it make exception handling easier? I remember even with Unitask, it was easy to accidentally eat your exceptions, so you could have some really difficult bugs to track down if you weren't meticulous in your setup.
I experienced all of the above the last time I used Unity and this solved it all: github.com/Cysharp/UniT...
NB: then you have a "threading a cancellation token through all of your function calls" workflow.
I'm choosing to believe this means my year will achieve the comparative level of success as that movie, rather than emulate the plot of the movie.

Congratulations!
I know for a fact the answer to question 3 is "yeah dude, totally"
Since I've been putting a lot of time into little aesthetic things these last few weeks, I decided to do a little before / after comparison for #ScreenshotSaturday
Happy #ScreenshotSaturday!
This week I've spent a lot of time thinking about the readability of powerup deactivation effects- I want it to be easy to tell what's going on when everything else is exploding.

Ok, I guess I'll make one too- 10 games to get to know me.
Kind of a weird collection of stuff I think, but all 10 of these things have had a really profound effect on me, either purely as works of art or how I look at games as a medium.
I'm partial to "We know you're (not) robots" myself, but they're all crazy good!

And there's 3 more!
After a couple of weeks of refactoring and bug squashing, I finally got a little time to play with aesthetics this week!
Just in time for #screenshotsaturday
made it so you can drag/draw train tracks in Trainplanner, its soo much faster and more intuitive
You might want to look at how Max/MSP implements something similar with send / return nodes
LinkedIn is home to some of the bleakest, most unintentional and funniest humour on the internet.
I found both of these super helpful: www.youtube.com/watch?v=-XYr...
